Open the started appointment that the crew is currently working on. The appointment must be in progress for carryover to be available.
From the appointment screen, select the Actions menu (three dots).
Choose Carryover from the list.
Add any necessary notes (example: “Need 2 more hours to finish”).
Update the duration if needed (e.g., change to 120 minutes).
Decide whether the crew is allowed to self-schedule or if the appointment should be queued for office scheduling.
Recommended: Queue the appointment so the office receives it and can properly reschedule.
Choose whether to queue it for today or the next day.
Hit Schedule.
In the web version, the original appointment will show as Complete, and a new appointment will appear as Queued, waiting for scheduling.
The office can then drag it onto the calendar or right-click to edit and assign a specific date and time.
If the carryover option is missing for the crew, check user permissions:
Go to Control Panel > Users > Edit User > Permissions.
Ensure the user has Reschedule Appointments enabled. Without it, they cannot carry over a job.
