If you run into an issue with Adobe missing some options on the desktop version. Here are some things to check.
1. First check the users license. Adobe features are linked to a paid license per user account. Go to https://www.adobe.com/home and have the user login. On the main screen Adobe will detail the users current plan plus available applications for download.
2. Once the version has been confirmed you can attempt to repair or upgrade the installation. On the desktop app go to
Menu (top left corner)
then
Help
then
check for updates
If an update is available click Download and Install to begin the process of updating
If no updates are available go back to
Menu
then
Help
then
Repair Installation
to reinstall the most current version of the users subscribed software
NOTE: We noticed that after reinstalling sometimes users are given a stripped version of the software. If you are missing KEY FEATURES then go to
Menu
then
Help
then you will see an additional option of "Update Key Features"
click it to restore what is missing.
