Overview
When transferring customer credit card tokens from your current payment provider to a new provider, it’s important to note that ServiceMinder does not store or manage token data.
All token information is securely held by your current credit card processor. To complete the transfer, you’ll need to request the token list from that provider and then match it to the import template from ServiceMinder.
Steps to Transfer Tokens
1. Download the Base Template from ServiceMinder by clicking here
- Log in to your ServiceMinder account. Navigate to the appropriate section for payment or customer data management. Download the Base Token Import Template — this will be used to align your token data before import.
2. Contact Your Current Credit Card Provider
- You’ll need to obtain your list of customer tokens directly from your current payment processor (e.g., CardConnect, Authorize.net, Stripe, etc.).
- When contacting them, request the following details for each token:
- Customer name or ID Last 4 digits of the card number Token value
3. Match Tokens to the ServiceMinder Template
- Open the Base Token Import Template you downloaded from ServiceMinder. Copy the token and customer information from the provider’s file into the corresponding columns. Double-check that all fields match ServiceMinder’s required format. Save your completed file and send it to the ServiceMinder Support or Onboarding team for processing.
